Battery Test Process

We guarantee top-notch quality by subjecting every product to rigorous performance tests, meeting both National and International standards such as SNI IEC 61960-3:2017, SNI 8928-2020, SNI IEC 62660:2017, SNI IEC 62196:2017, SNI IEC 62619:2017, UL 1642, UN38.3, and more. Quality always comes first with our products.

Our Quality Performance Test scheme includes:

1

Voltage & IR Test

The test to determine the cell voltage and Internal Resistance.

2

Capacity in Room Temperature Test

The test to verify the rated capacity of a cell/battery at testing room temperature.

3

Capacity in Certain Temperature Test

The test to verify the rated capacity of a cell/battery at certain temperatures.

4

High Rate Cell Test

The test to determine the capacity of a cell when discharged at a high rate.

5

Cycle Test

The test to determine the number of charge and discharge cycles which a cell/battery can endure before its useful capacity has been significantly depleted or the remaining capacity after a specified condition.

6

High Rate Pack Test

The test to determine the capacity of a battery pack when discharged at a high rate.

Safety takes center stage in our lithium-ion products, and it is our utmost priority in product development. We ensure that every product we create meets both National and International safety standards, such as SNI IEC 62133-2:2017, SNI 8927-2020, SNI IEC 62660:2017, SNI IEC 62196:2017, UL 1642, UN38.3, and more.

Here is an overview of our safety testing process:

1

Drop Test

Dropping a cell from a certain height (in this case, 1m) shall not cause fire or explosion.

2

Thermal Abuse Test

An extremely high temperature shall not cause fire or explosion.

3

Nail Penetration Test

Penetration test to the cell by metal needle shall not cause fire or explosion.

4

External Short Circuit Test

Short-circuiting of the positive and negative terminals of the cell using external resistance at high temperature shall not cause fire or explosion.

5

Impact Test

Perpendicularly dropped impact on the cell from a certain height shall not cause fire or explosion.

6

Crush Test

Severe crushing by a device exerting a force to the cell shall not cause fire or explosion.

7

Forced Discharging & Overcharging Test

Test of the cell to withstand polarity reversal without causing fire or explosion due to missed discharge method, and the continuous charge at constant voltage test shall not cause leakage, fire or explosion.

8

High & Low Temperature Test

An extreme test condition (<0ºC until >70ºC) for the cell to verify the performance (capacity) of the cell.

9

Pressure Safety Test

An internal pressure test to verify the safety equipment function (CID - Current Interrupt Device) installed in the cell.
